Here and Now

這首歌的來源也蠻好玩，
1956年，田納西州監獄的兩個囚犯，
 Johnny Bragg 和 Robert Riley
在監獄的中庭中散步，
不巧遇到陣雨。
Bragg 感嘆著說，不曉得女朋友們現在在做什麼。

Riley提議Bragg 不妨以此為題材寫首歌，
幾分鐘內，Bragg 已經譜了幾句，
但是因為Bragg 不認字，只好請Riley代寫，
代價即是Riley也算是共同作曲者。

1953年，Bragg 和他的“坐監者”合唱團
把這首歌灌成唱片，上了藍調排行榜。

不過最有名的是1956年Johnnie Ray的版本，
在流行歌排行榜達到第二名。
