The Brothers Four：《Yellow Bird》


這首歌原名叫《Choucoune》。
原是海地作曲家 Michel Mauleart Monton在1893 年 
根據十九世紀海地名詩人 Oswald Durand 
的同名詩篇寫成的。
是一首情詩，歌頌名叫 Choucoune的女子。
在海地很是流行。
1949年太子港兩百週年慶的時候，
這首歌更是傳頌一時，
引起了美國人的注意。

英文版的歌詞變成了《Yellow Bird》，
填詞者是 Alan和 Marilyn Bergman。
1950中葉開始流行。
Mills Brothers　的版本曾在流行榜上達到第 70名，
1961年 Arthur Lyman夏威夷風的音樂版更高達第四名。
不過我最喜歡的是四兄弟合唱團的這個版本。
