這支由Peter Udell 和 Gary Geld 在1960年寫的歌曲
最早是由The Four Voices 灌成單曲唱片，
但是銷路平平，沒有引起太大的注意。
1962年再由Brian Hyland 重新詮釋，
這次總算揚眉吐氣，在排行榜上高達第三名。
這支歌很得眾歌星的喜愛，
歷年來翻唱的不止有20位，
包括了1972年 Bobby Vinton 的版本，
或許是因爲每個人在少年時期，
心靈上都有過類似的感動吧。
