Patti Page 是美國二十世紀中期的王牌歌后。
她的原名是 Clara Ann Fowler，
1925年生在奧克拉荷馬的一個窮人家庭，
爸爸是鐵路工人，媽媽和姐姐們
靠著採棉花補貼家裏的生活。
Patti Page 生來一幅好歌喉，
高中畢業后在 Tulsa 城的一個電臺
擔任每天15分鐘歌唱節目的主唱，
這個節目的贊助公司是
Page 牛乳公司，這也是她的藝名
Patti Page 的由來。

Patti Page 的《田納西華爾茲》和《交換舞伴》
是慢步華爾茲裡的經典曲子，
兩首歌的旋律都很優美。
《田納西華爾茲》（Tennessee Waltz）記述
一個《田納西華爾茲》樂音飄揚的晚上
自己的情郎卻被好友所奪
的傷心回憶。

《田納西華爾茲》在 1947年
由 Redd Stewart 和  Pee Wee King作曲作詞，
Patti Page在 1950年灌唱的版本，
是美國流行音樂歷史上最叫賣的曲子之一，
在排行榜的賣座冠軍席上高居兩個月至久。
