Here and Now

喜歡西洋老歌的人大概都知道
保羅安卡（Paul Anka）或聼過他的名字。
他在1941 年生在加拿大首都渥太華，
父母親是黎巴嫩的移民,
在渥太華開著餐館。
保羅安卡從小在東方正教的教堂唱詩班唱歌，
並且也學鋼琴。

14嵗就灌了第一支單曲唱片，
16嵗時第一次在美國電視
演唱他的自創曲"戴安娜（Diana）"，
一炮而紅，《Diana》賣了九百万張，
在排行榜上也竄升到第一名。
隔年，保羅安卡又連續寫了
四首載排行榜上前二十名的歌，
其中即包括了這首"You Are My Destiny"。

1959年的保羅安卡更加風光，
他的"Lonely Boy"在排行榜上得冠，
"Put Your Head On My Shoulder"也排第二名。
使他成爲當年的青春偶像。
